It started at 5:45 a.m. when the kids arise for their morning ritual for school. Teeth brushing, hair combing...ughhhh cereal bowls flying around, kids fighting back and forth "I said prayer already...it's so and so's turn to say it"....then boom the 3 older ones are out the door by 6:45 a.m to make their 7 o clock bus!
Then comes our little preschooler Aryn.....who is learning so much wonderful Hawaiian Words at Kamehameha Preschool..getting her ready is a complete CHORE...I believe that because I was the kind of child I was to my parents, she was born to give back every bit of tormant I gave to my parents...I totally love this little ball of fire...but every morning she gives me her round of how she hates her hair combed that way, and the clothes I picked out for her don't match and BLAH BLAH BLAH...it's literally the same thing every morning...after she's calmed down, we get her lunch, water bottle, backpack and slippers on. Trailing behind are my little twinny's so excited because they know it's time to go for a ride to take sissy to school!...We get aryn to school around 7:45 a.m., sign her into her classroom and head for Walmart...Yippee...the highlight of my day!!!
I get home around 8:45 a.m, Mana leaves for work at his Day Job, Costco Pharmacy...he forgets his outfit for his night job...so I have to find time to get those to him, later on in my busy day...I get some towels washed put out on the line to dry..."Conserving Energy" get about 4 other loads of kids clothes done, dishes done, vacumming, trash out, by this time twins go down for a nap...and it's 12:30...I realize shoot, I've got to pick up Aryn by 2 pm and the twins are napping still...OH NO>..missionaries stop by to give me some paperwork for Mana, and to get a quick drink....
I call my girlfriend Kaulana to see if she could swing by to Pick up Aryn from School, she agrees and saves my life Again....in the meantime, I'm putting together my lesson to teach to our young women, and the twins must've smelt the glue and paper because they woke up...ughhhhh...by this time to my disadvantage...I'm hurriedly trying to finish my lesson and the twins are hungry....and messed their diapers horribly...
it's now 3:30 p.m. and two of my 3 older kids come home from school. My daughter amaya went to Hilo for a field trip with the whole third grade which is 2 hours from our home and we were informed that they needed to be picked up at the school by 4:30...I rush up to the Elementary school, totally sweaty from my chores, in total need of a shower by now and I see a billion parents in front of the school...I pull up in my van and ask what's going on...one parent says, Oh did you get a call, the kids won't be coming back until 5:30....I'm totally having anxiety at this point, because I still needed to get to Costco to put gas in my car, get treats for my lesson, pick up pictures from there too, and to drop off mana's uniform to him, take a shower, get the remaining lesson objects from home, babies bags packed...all before I have to take Amari to scouts by 6 p.m. Amaya to faith in God by the same time and my activity set up for 7 p.m.....
ONe of my girlfriends were there at the school thank goodness, and offered to wait there for her daughter and my daughter so that I could finish my errands and she would call when Amaya's bus arrived...I jetted to Costco finished all my errands, ran in their complete NASTY smelling...ewwwwww, jetted home took the fastest shower in my life, got all my odds and ends, made it back to the Elementary just in time for the buses arrival. Scooped amaya up, headed down to Mcdonalds for a quick dinner for my kiddo's, arrived at the Chapel at 5:45...set the kids up in the Nursery room with their fast food, set my lesson up in the Relief Society room, which was on "Vision Boards, and postive thinking for the achievement to make your goals a reality"...it went so well, and those girls are beautiful. My kids had a ball running around the chapel, especially the twins...we finished a little bit passed 8 p.m...got home at 8:30 p.m. put the twins down for the night, kids showered, signed all homework logs...and now at 10:19 p.m. I'm writing it all down in my blog for you to read and waiting for my husband to walk in the door at 10:30 p.m... today was a crazy day!
