My bestes friend of all time who happens to be a personal hairdresser by trade was at my house yesterday and after much talk I decided to CUT the twins WILD blonde AFRO's... We put a little hair cape on them sat them up on my counter and cut away....My husband on the other hand wasn't agreeing with me. He thought we should grow that pretty blonde mane out and keep gel'n it into a ponytail!!! Ugghhh in this Hot Kona Weather it just wasn't the truth to torture my baby boys who most people thought were adorable little girls when I'd pug their hair up in a PONY...but all that came to a hault when we wacked it off... I felt a little teary eyed seeing my babies turn into little boys right before my eyes...They both resemble our older son amari so much now...It brought back such great memories of amari at their age...
They seem so happy with their BIG BOY Cut...and look so dang adorable...the blonde is gone and their hair is a soft dark brown with very smooth curls...it's still taking me some time to get used to it...So many friends who know our family so well in our little town, loved their new little look...I love it...as for my hubby, he was really mad about it and I think today he may be just about getting over it...I hope so. I told him if you like long hair so much, grow yours out and pug it in a pony....LOL...I love you sweetie and I love our twins new look too...
