My girlfriend from forever Dayla combined her Husband Jake and my daughter Amaya's birthday together today. We had the best scavenger hunts, the bombest food and the greatest family and friends over...Mana even took off early from his day time job to be us, it was great! The kids swam in her pool all day long until I had to practically convince my kids that it was time to go home.....
I can't believe how much amaya has grown up, today totally showed her maturity. As I watched her play with her sister Audrey who is only a year younger than she is, I loved watching the bond that they have. They were doing all of these silly games in the water like going under and making silly faces to eachother and cracking up when they resurface.
It was husband and wife teams today in the pool, seeing who could stand on the water noodle with both feet and race across to the other side...Man, my husband is the saltiest loser of them all...I couldn't bare to go against him anymore, so I switched to be on my sister's team....because he will so cheat to win..
We had great board games like "Boxers and Briefs"...you should get that game if you can...totally fun, doesn't sound like what it says..all in all this was a great birthday for Amaya and her baptism is right around the corner...Happy Birthday lil mama!
