If you read my page and check out my little Temperature box on the right hand side of this blog, you get to see just how freegin hot Kailua Kona really is this summer!...Plus we're so lucky to get a thick mix of VOG and HUMIDITY rolled into that.......This is going to be a ridiculously hot summer! We've been doing lots of swimming to keep cool and plenty car rides to get out of the house! We do have AC in our home, but the pain of the Electric Bill when it's ran 24-7 is unforgivable!!! YIKES...so I'll be good to our pockets this summer, and find other means of coolin off! I've got a permanent tan from all the water activities I do with the kids to keep them cooled off. Lots of fun, but it literally takes every ounce of energy you have to swim in this heat....Wish me luck for the rest of the summer!

Oh, I feel you! It takes so much energy to get kids in and out of swim wear plus making sure no one drowns.
