Just so you know...a few things to share!

Hey Everyone~

We got a head start feeling the Summer HEAT here in Kona, and somedays it's okay, but I have to tell you that I really appreciate the overcast weather today and the little sprinkles of rain this morning! It really helps simmer the heat down some!

Yesterday I was absolutely wiped out, and My dear husband came home at the end of his first job with about an hour to spare inbetween him starting his second job! He found me sleeping in my room, and came in my room, kissed me on my cheek and wiped my hair away from my face and let me know that he was home. He said, "Honey just sleep, I got it"....I was still half asleep at this point, but did hear the vaccuum going, the kids taking their baths and Mana cooking dinner! I felt so unbelievably reassured that it was okay to extend my well deserved nap...An hour must've passed, because before you knew it, MY SUPERMAN, was showered and changed into his night job clothing and ready to go out the door!...He says...Honey, I gotta go, the kids are fed, bathed and I'll see you tonight, get as much sleep as you can"...

As soon as I heard the door close, I woke up to find all of my kids comforatably watching a movie in the living room, smelling like so sweet! I relaxed with my tribe, waited up for Mana to come home from work to let him know just how thankful I was for doing that for me. It's not often we get to do that for one another, but It's a wonderful thing when we see eachother need a little extra help, we are there to lend a hand!

Today:

I had a meeting to go to this morning at 8:30 a.m and Mana didn't have to work until mid morning! He thought I'll come with you and take the kids to the park and wait for you?... I got up to take my shower, and when I came out...he had packed little boxes of cereal, milk, complete with bowls, spoons and napkins in a little lunch bag for the kids...He even remembered extra clothes and the twins potty. I was so caught off guard at how quickly he did that! Not that it's a surprise, but just you know...another one of those grateful moments!

Quick note: We both rarely get to see one another between Mana working 2 jobs outside of our home and me being ablet to be home with our children. So on very rare occasions, I'll treat him, or he'll treat me to a little surprise like these that I've shared. These little acts of kindness mean so much to me and I"m glad that I can share these moments with you too!
