After all of the rain and heavy winds we've been experiencing lately, I woke up to the most clearest Saturday morning that we've had in a long time! I mean it was "Shocking" to have NO VOG, and to see the ultimate beauty of Hualalai's Majestic Mountain so green hovering over us, with no clouds in it's way! The air was crisp, warm, and Perfect for getting some Saturday Errands out of the way!
As most of you know, I seem to write a lot about my day in review...and it's simply because I truly believe that there is Another force that manages my day for me! Because after I read what I write, I myself can't believe that I did all of that! Really...and I'm sure I have many faithful readers who feel that very same way too, when it comes to "THEIR VERY OWN DAY IN REVIEW"...(Winking my eyes)..
Anyway, after waking up to my beautiful morning, I get my children ready for the day and to the Grocery Store which was wicked crowded, get some Meat and Milk on sale, then decide to go to our Local "Farmers Market" to go and stock up on all of my Fruits and Veggies. "I love going there, not only do you save so much money, you get the freshest organic fruits and veggies that are grown right here in Hawaii! My kids love their pineapple macadamia nut bread....mmmmm!
I go to Costco to pick up Eggs, Bread, and essentials because with our family size, we need those things in Bulk! I fill up gas there, and then head home to drop off the groceries and feed the kids some lunch! By this time, they are getting comfy at home, and I have to remind them, that Mommy "isn't done running errands, so hurry up and eat their lunch", use the bathroom and it's time to get on the road again!
With lunch done and bathroom breaks taken I pack up the tribe and head to Waikoloa which is about 40 min from where I live! It was exciting but I knew it would a long meeting. It was a lottery that I was invited to for the new housing development that's being bulit in Waikoloa! My children were surprisingly well behaved for the whole entire 3 hours that we were there. It was So interesting to know that this new little "town" is being developed just months away from now! They served a beautiful spread of "chinese food" which kept my kids pretty happy and quiet while they continued with the lottery! I was in catergory #3 because my husband works for the Federal Gov't, so we sat patiently while others were called listening "keenly" for My name! I wasn't even sure they were going to call it, but at the very last minute...they did ......Woo Hoo...and the best part is, I drew "#1"....how lucky was I??? I was so happy and knew that the drive, those 3 hours of waiting and my kids being on such good behavior had paid off completely!
Right after coming out of the event, my kids were sticky, with black feet from playing outside and Kennan decides to mess his pants, I mean he's in diapers, but the grose kind that leak throughout and we have a 40 min drive home...with no extra clothes! I change his diaper and pretty much give him a bath using the whole box of wipes, I decide to just take his shorts off and head back to Kona! I realize I need gas, ugghhh!! I go in the gas station and realize that their is lollipops by the cashier and get some for the kids for being so good! They loved it!
I finally reach home to Kona, get to my house and change, shower Jaron and put some clean clothes on him, drive up to my sisters house to get their baby shower presents and head over to our Bishops daughters baby shower at the stake center!
It was so fun, probably the best baby shower I've ever went to! My kids came with me, it was perfect for them! There was really so much thought and love that went into the planning of this baby shower! It was a sports theme, which is pretty much what their family loves! and everything had to do with a sports event...We even had to break up in teams and do a fight song using BYU and USC's victory music and turn it into a labor song for Maile! Great food, and seriously just like Bishop said if you walked away hungry, that was your fault! By 9 pm., yes 9 p.m. it still hadn't ended but I had to go so I hauled my grose, dirty, sticky, black bottom feet, tired, and very cranky kids home to shower! They weren't to happy to be woken up from their sleep and dragged out of the car, but they were not sleeping in their beds with all the bacteria they had picked up from today! I waited for Mana to come home from work, to tell him all of the great news that happened today!...Both tired, we just smiled and said our I love you's showered and hit the sack!

Sounds like a great day. You're a wonderful mom and I love how you are so grateful and recognize the Lord's hand in everything. Does that mean you get to move to the new subdivision? Near Aunty Pinkie?
