I love my Auntie's!

So we are having our Hiram/Ahuna reunion for the next 3 days here on the Big Island! My mom's sister Pinkie...got an Absolutely beautiful Condo in Waikoloa for us to stay at so that while we are commuting back and forth from Waimea we have a place to meet at in case we don't want to make the drive back to Kona!... My mom's 2 other sisters Lani and Noreen flew in from Oahu and they invited my family over today to hang out and swim at the pool, eat the most ono food that I so loved when I was a little kid! The pool was great...the kids had a ball! I loved doing this kind of stuff when I was a little, and I really try to do the same thing for our kids. I love teaching them our rich heritage and where they come from. We sang and laughed so much. It really made me miss my MOMMY! I love my auntie's so much for taking care of us the way our mom would if she were here!...It'll be 8 years now since mom's passing! We will do her proud singing for the talent show at our Reunion tomorrow evening their randition of songs like Sad Movies, Sincerely, Beautiful Hauula, and Hauula Smiles! We even got our kids geared up for the Talent show and movie night tomorrow night! We wrapped up our evening with lot's of sleepy heads but in enough time to meet my husband as he came home from work! Tomorrow we're sleeping there for the rest of the week! Yippee, I hate packing!
