I heard a pretty loud Thump against my house today, and noticed that my neighbors Cat "Corky" darted over to my place really quickly! I ran outside to see what it was and a chubby gray Dove had flown into the side of my house...it injured himself pretty good but managed to hobble for cover from the hungry cat between the side of my house and my big flower pot...it looked so scared! The twins were going bananas looking a real bird that actually "Couldn't fly away"...Aryn wanted to keep him. I explained to her that we had to take him to the "Animal Hospital" (Humane Society) and she says "Ohhhh does he need shots?", I said maybe, she says "Ohhh maybe I should go in with him, so he can squeeze my hands"!!! Kids say the funniest things sometimes! Here's our birdie.....

geez your family is so sweet...i would have been scared of the bird itself and made diarra take care of it lol
